Four people are in hospital being treated for smoke inhalation after a two-alarm fire at a condo in Moss Park.
Emergency crews were called to the building on Shuter Street near Parliament Street around 11 a.m. Wednesday for a mattress fire on the 12th floor.
Toronto Fire said the mattress was taken out of a unit and brought into the hallway, where the fire was later extinguished.
Paramedics said the injuries are not life-threatening. Two of the patients are believed to be teenagers.
The cause of the fire is not yet known.
