Two people suffered minor injuries after a fire in Toronto’s west end on Sunday.
Firefighters were called to a home on Sarnia Avenue, near Bloor Street and Lansdowne Avenue, around 11 p.m.
A fire on the front porch was quickly knocked down. The cause of the fire is being investigated.
Neighbouring houses were evacuated as a precaution.
CityNews viewer Jack Cesar captured video of the fire, as seen below:
The fire was the third one on Sarnia this year. Last month, one person died in a fire that broke out on the third floor of a home. Also, in July, a 62-year-old man died in a fire at another home. It’s not clear what caused all three fires or whether there is any connection.
